About this talk

The Current State of Critical Infrastructure: How to Prepare for Zero Day Threats in Your Supply Chain. Cyberattacks on critical infrastructure have slowly been increasing in severity over the last year. The havoc they are wreaking has increased by $1.17 million to $5.4 million per incident. Furthermore, nation state attacks on critical infrastructure have doubled in frequency over the last year, there has been a 38% increase in high severity vulnerabilities detected across publicly exposed digital footprints. With an average time of 14 days for an exploit to be released into the wild following the detection of a vulnerability, precise prevention and response strategies are essential. In this panel discussion, you will hear from critical infrastructure industry leaders on how their organizations prepare themselves and their supply chains for zero day attacks. We will explore this from the perspective of prevention and response and capture best practices such as: - What should we be looking for in our environments and those of our suppliers to assess our risk levels - How are we developing our cyber risk programs to prevent zero days - What type of response programs have been developed to minimize impact of zero days - What type of investments are being made by organisations to better prepare for zero day attack disruptions Moderated by: Matthew McKenna, President of International Operations, SecurityScorecard Panelists: Sam Curry, CISO, Zscaler Oleg Strizhak, Digital Supply Chain Risk Manager, Shell Major General John F. Wharton (US Army Ret)
