gRPC is a popular framework for building distributed applications. The Hazelcast Platform has built-in support for invoking gRPC services from within stream processing pipelines.

Faster time-to-market, better fault tolerance, improved scalability—there are many reasons organizations are turning away from monolithic applications and embracing microservices. Breaking down application functionality into bite-sized chunks can yield many advantages in the world of modern application development. This ongoing shift coincides with another indisputable reality of today’s businesses: the demand for real-time data.
