A recent report from IDC found that European organisations will spend 10% of their ICT budget to develop infrastructure, data, processes, governance frameworks and skills to adhere to the digital sovereignty principles adopted in the EU. A significant portion of this budget will go to updating data governance/management and to new tools to manage/orchestrate/secure data in a compliant way.

Ultimately, by 2025, IDC predicts that as many as 80% of enterprises will need to restructure their data governance processes built on an autonomic foundation.
