There are many reasons why companies have not been successful in realising their often ambitious strategies for data, Yet the one that often emerges as the key bottleneck is data management. A recent survey undertaken by IDC discovered that 62% of organisations say they have problems leveraging their data due to a lack of proper data access governance. This podcast will examine why accessing data has become such a key issue, looking at how the implementation of multiple cloud data platforms has made it increasingly difficult for companies to secure data access for the right people in their organisations.
