Following the launch of JBA’s climate change flood models and data for every location worldwide, insurance industry commentator Ant Gould leads the conversation with JBA’s climate and hydrological experts to explore the science behind baseline and future flood risk and the importance of being able to translate complex climate change science into meaningful data for risk managers. Meet the speakers Dr Ashleigh Massam, Senior Analyst and Process Architect Senior Analyst and Process Architect, Ashley has a background in climate science and experience in process validation. She plays an integral role in the Climate Change team where she actively contributes to the development and evaluation of JBA’s latest climate change products. Dr Emma Raven, Climate Change Technical Lead As the Climate Change Technical Lead, Emma helps JBA’s clients understand, quantify and manage climate change impacts driving the development of our climate change flood models and analytics data, including the UK’s first climate change flood model in 2018. Dr Dave Leedal, Hydrology Technical Lead Dave is JBA’s Hydrology Technical Lead. He is keenly involved in rainfall-runoff modelling, computational hydrology, high-performance scientific computing, climate change science, geospatial statistics, and the teaching and communication of hydrological science. Judith Ellison, Climate Change Commercial Lead JBA’s Climate Change Commercial Lead, Judith works to drive our flood risk and climate change strategy by applying her extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sphere to explore new product options including an update to our leading UK Climate Change Flood Model.
