About this talk

According to Github, "97% of applications leverage open-source code, and 90% of companies are applying or using it in some way." And according to the Apache Software Foundation, over half of all ASF projects support data management. Apache Ignite is referenced in numerous of those data categories, and is one of the Top 5 most active Apache projects. But where is this all going? As data requirements evolve, a new data architecture has emerged to address the need for data processing and analytics across data at-rest and data in-motion, all at ultra-low latencies. Gartner calls this architecture a "Unified Real-Time Data Platform." Ignite Summit - Watch On Demand - https://ignite-summit.org/ Join Lalit Ahuja, SVP of Product at GridGain, for this Keynote session to learn more about the Unified Real-Time Data Platform and how it relates to the the future of Apache Ignite. Lalit will further share how you, as a key member of the Ignite Community, can both benefit from and contribute to the success of Apache Ignite in this new technology segment. ABOUT LALIT: Throughout his career, Lalit has led various IT functions including enterprise architecture, product management, large scale program management, and IT operations, and served as a digital transformation strategy advisor to executives at Fortune 500 enterprises. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and an MBA from UCLA.
