Prior to Field Effect, he spent 16 years at the Communications Security Establishment, most recently as Director of the organization’s Advanced Capability Development Centre. From 2011 to 2015, he led CSE’s Security Operations Centre. Previously, Pat worked in product management and technical sales in two networking start ups. He started his career as a communications engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces, a period highlighted by operational deployments to Africa, the Middle East, and Haiti. Pat holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering.
