The boundaries separating work, home and play have become more and more blurred. Mobility, once a nice-to-have capability, is increasingly important for business strategy, while, simultaneously increasing risk of theft and data loss. Companies developing their end-point security strategies have to consider office, transit, and home usage; they also need to understand the exposure that they face, which is shaped by industry and circumstance. As we look to 2011, we see Best-in-Class companies assessing these risks and, to avoid the astronomical costs associated with data breaches, implementing a multilayered approach to securing their endpoints.
