Jackie Medecki is a Senior Attorney with Intel supporting Intel’s Marketing Creative Services organization and the Intel Social Media Center of Excellence. Jackie has supported Intel’s Marketing Department for the last three years including events, marketing and legal support for all Intel external-facing web activities, including oversight of Intel.com and Intel’s social media guidelines and programs on Intel.com and on third party sites such as Second Life, YouTube, Flikr, Facebook, and Twitter. In this roll she has advised on a variety issues including content, CAN-SPAM, FTC, FCC and privacy compliance, and copyright, trademark, and confidentiality. Jackie has developed and implemented various corporate guidelines, trainings and policies focused on marketing, blogging, social media, sweepstakes and contests, UGC, web hot topics and Intel’s policy on keyword purchasing, and DMCA and CDA compliance. Jackie is the creator and lead instructor for the following Intel courses: Marketing Content Creation, Digital Media Creation, Social Media Legal Issues and Intel’s on-line External Blogging Legal Training. Jackie has created and leads a cross-divisional worldwide Intel Web Legal Community of Practice group tasked with reviewing and addressing worldwide web, privacy, security and social media issues, regulatory activity and programs. She is also an active member of Intel’s Marketing Law Practice Group and Copyright Practice Group. Previously at Intel, Jackie held positions as Legal Counsel for the Intel Mexico and Southern Cone Sales and Marketing team, and for Intel’s Apple Sales Team.
