This session highlights the key capabilities of service provisioning including the on-demand, self-service portal for end users, service and application blueprints, policy engines for governance, standardization for IT control and compliance, and extensibility frameworks. We will drill down into the technologies that support Cloud Service Provisioning: vCloud Automation Center, vFabric Application Director, Cloud Applications Marketplace, and vCenter Orchestrator. About the Presenter: Christian Paulus is the Director Product Marketing for Application Management at VMware. His specialty is to help companies create new products and take them to market globally, which he has done successfully at seven companies, including Mercury Interactive, which then got acquired by HP, NuvoSun, CrossWorlds, Oracle and Informix. Christian holds a MBA from Cologne University, and he also studied at Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms University in Bonn, City University London, as well as Stanford University.
