Ensuring Success at Each Level and Phase of Product Innovation

Presented by

Rich Mironov

About this talk

As you move up through management levels, and move through phases of product innovation and delivery, your challenges and core skills change. Directors have a different scope and set of problems than individual managers as do Product VPs. In this webinar you will learn about the skills needed to do well and succeed at each level and phase, which problems to escalate, and the right mix of strategy versus execution. By the end of the webinar, you will understand why Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents, and CEOs need to think differently, one to the other, about strategy, people, processes, agility, and market sensing. Finally, since everyone eventually wants to be promoted, we’ll discuss the need to “think like your boss”. ich Mironov is a serial entrepreneur, tech start-up veteran, software product strategist, and currently the CEO of a stealth startup. He started his career at large Silicon Valley companies (HP, Tandem, Sybase) followed by executive roles at four earlier technology startups including two successful exits. Rich founded the ProductCamp movement, chaired the first product owner/product manager tracks at the annual Agile Alliance conference, and is on the board of SVPMA. He is the author of “The Art of Product Management,” which comes out of his long-running Product Bytes blog. He has a BS Physics from Yale and an MBA from Stanford.
