About this talk

Commercial process technologies for biologics manufacturing are facing multiple challenges because of ongoing market economic pressure, uncertainty in market growth and low productivity manufacturing technologies. To overcome these challenges in novel production processes, HYPER Technology is one of technological advantages available. The next generation High Yield PERformance (HYPER) technology lets you grow large quantities of adherent cells in a compact space. The cell production technology uses a unique ultra-thin gas-permeable film to eliminate the air gap within the vessel. This results in a substantial increase in cell growth surface area compared to traditional vessels of comparable cubic footprint. Join us as we evaluate the available platforms for commercializing adherent cell culture-based products, we will discuss the science of HYPER Technology and how its enabling process intensification and scale up. We will also go through case studies of use of this platform for protein production, cell and gene therapy, including adenovirus, lentivirus and whole cell as final products.
