Alex Arthur worked for twenty-five years in the mechanical and electrical service industry, both as Senior Partner of a major consulting firm, and Managing Director of one of the UK's largest privately owned M & E Companies. During this period his companies undertook the construction of many Data Centres, Computer Rooms, and Hi Tech facilities. He has had extensive experience of services, and construction throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East, across a whole sphere of disciplines. For the past fifteen years he has been Managing Director of BNB Developments, a real estate development company, specialising in the construction of hotels, offices, student accommodation, and Data Centres. The 700,000 sq ft Data Centre, scheme at Cambridge with its associated 500 residents' village is the largest project within the group to date, and he has personal responsibility to deliver the completed scheme. Cambridge has already won the Data Centre Europe award for Innovation.
