Leveraging Data Center Resources for Dynamic Endpoints

The Data Center holds all of the resources necessary for end users to get their jobs done, from operating system images to applications to data and personal profiles. However, it is becoming impossible to accurately predict how best to assemble these resources at any given moment to best respond to the changing needs of professionals, productivity workers and task workers. How can these resources be accessed, controlled, secured and managed? When is server-based computing better than distributed computing, and vice versa?
