IoT landscape is a collection of extreme, diverse challenges and opportunities. Any working electronic device is creating data, and that data is being collected, stored and analyzed. Some of the examples put enormous challenge on IoT analytics system. This presentation talks about the specific customer who needed to ingest enormous amount of IoT in very short time, store it for unpredictable period of time – some of data indefinitely (+100 years) and be able to analyze IoT quickly, in real-time and by many different users.
In this presentation we will describe in details the IoT data requirements, components of the system, build process of the system, efficiency, test results and the audit procedure. Can it independently grow storage and compute – and how easily? Can the analytic functionality be extended? What about reliability? How future-proof is it? Those and other questions will be addressed during the presentation.
