About this talk

Many Enterprises have moved from hybrid cloud computing to multi cloud computing. With the rise in media & edge analytics use cases and associated geo distribution of applications, edge computing is becoming a need. Enterprises may need to sign up with multiple edge providers to reach geo distributed population. Due to lack of uniformity among providers can lead to complexity of establishing communications among the applications across edges & clouds and securing the geo distributed workloads. This talk introduces the needs of geo-distributed applications and then gets into requirements it poses on network connectivity and security. It then scans through the current technologies addressing multi cloud networking & security. Also, it will provide few viewpoints on the next evolution of the networking & security industry. Finally, it introduces some open source projects and how they can be the foundation for next generation networking & security.
