About this talk

Software operators are important for IT admins for automation, effort reduction and handling complexity. Of course, installing applications is well known. Real effort starts when operating the application. Further, software operators not only provide more automation and effort reduction, but also reduce mistakes resulting from manual executions. For software vendors, this is an opportunity: it is not only about providing additional value to the users, the IT admins, but with operators software vendors improve the application lifecycle experience. In addition, the modern landscape is also about the integration of applications, the compositions of applications. Canonical has created a model-driven way of operators: the Charmed Operators. On a model level relations between applications are defined. Forming compositions makes even more sense if a collection of operators is available. In this webinar, we present the comprehensive view: 1) How Charmed Operators add value for users and vendors of software 2) How a collection of Charmed Operators represents the enabling foundation for composing applications Register today!
