She will cover the services provided by local government with a focus on social care and public health, the boundaries and responsibilities that fall on local government and the NHS in relation to the organisation and finances. The session will consider local government sources of income and how they have been affected by restricted public spending and the challenges posed by the Covid 19 pandemic.
