About this talk

The NHS has committed to net zero emissions, announcing more targets at COP26 in November 2021. Alongside taking action, NHS bodies will be required to report on progress. The sustainability reporting landscape is complicated and changing fast. The IFRS Foundation established a new board to develop sustainability standards, with the first climate-related standard planned for mid-2022. The government intends to adopt these new standards economy-wide by 2025. The Treasury is working in conjunction with FRAB on what this means for public sector reporting. This webinar will summarise the likely changes to reporting requirements and what these mean for the NHS.
