About this talk

This is the 1st in a series of 5 webinars supporting trusts with cost improvement programme planning, idenitfication, delivery and monitoring. This first session will cover the following: •How organisations set out their vision, improvement strategy and philosophy •How organisations ensure that the organisational culture facilitates the transformation of services and improves patient care. •How organisations plan longer term transformational programmes / develop a five year forecast. •What organisations do to involve all local health economy stakeholders and how early is this done? •Whether organisations identify CIP targets for each division or department? Does this reflect relative efficiency and is benchmarking data used – if not is this something that organisations should achieve? •Do organisations have a PMO to oversee the CIP? If not how do you ensure clear governance structures and lines of accountability? What is the rational for PMO no PMO?
