Searching For ITSM Tools? 3 Reasons Why You Should Look Beyond the Help Desk
Trends like the cloud, software-as-a-service (SaaS), social media, mobility and consumerization of IT drive an increasing demand for a user-centric IT. To fulfill this demand while at the same time increasing IT's efficiency, IT organizations need to look beyond the traditional help desk when searching for ITSM tools. Just throwing more functionality and capabilities on the help desk cannot live up to the new way that users want to deal with IT and related services.
In this session we will discuss how this translates into 3 reasons why IT organizations want to look beyond the traditional help desk in search for ITSM tools: achieve a higher maturity to deliver and support high quality services, become a more efficient IT organization and meet user expectations risen from how users interact with IT services day-to-day via mobile devices and social media.
Finally, we will discuss what characteristics an integrated ITSM solution should come with when looking beyond the help desk.

How good are your current test cases? How much coverage do they provide, and how do you know? And do your testers have the data they need, when they need it?
In this webcast, we will discuss ways to:
•create the optimum set of test cases, by importing requirements and existing tests from HP ALM, turning them into crystal clear requirements using visual flow charts and related tools
•find or synthetically create the right test data, linking them with expected results and directly to each test cases
•automate test execution where tests are automatically updated each time the requirements change, so you can eliminate testing bottlenecks.
Learn how you can optimize your HP ALM investment - with the smallest test cases for maximum coverage, and with the right test data - to get you on your way to a faster, better delivery of high quality applications to market.

Hygienic design, regulations & compliances are increasing dramatically in the Food & Beverage market. Consequently, the questions raised are: how can you ensure food safety? How does Hygienic Design support the cleanability & Total Cost of Ownership of your plant? And with a practical example: What does a perfect flowmeter for liquids look like?
As well as speakers from Bürkert, this webinar features presentations from Hein Timmerman of Diversey-Sealed Air & Patrick Wouters of Cargill. Both are members of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group, EHEDG.
Patrick will discuss Cargill’s overall goal to provide high quality, safe food, every time, everywhere; to this end, hygienic design is an important pre-requisite. This accounts for the choice of flow meters. Although hygienic design is a critical element, it is more important to have a correct measurement of the flow. This control point is of utmost importance, to ensure that specified functionality is achieved & food safety & product quality is ensured.
Hein will discuss Sealed Air’s Value Added Services on cleaning applications & cleaning validations, which includes remote monitoring tools & software platforms to support their end customers’ requirements for food safety & Total Cost of Ownership.
Bürkert’s John van Loon will discuss their new technology, FLOWave. This answers the hygiene issues other systems could face, by employing surface acoustic waves in a stainless steel tube. As such FLOWave allows a flow measurement of liquids without any parts within the tube. Current methods in industrial flow measurement are mainly based on moving parts like paddle wheels or rigid fixtures such as a bluff body in the measurement tube. These flow metering systems have their specific weaknesses, limiting their range of applications. The measuring task must be fulfilled, reliably, throughout the entire life cycle of the device. Also, the daily operative handling effort should remain within reasonable limits.

Everything is digital. Industries are transformed as products and services become “software-defined”. Organizations win by putting engaging applications in the hands of customers and insightful data in the hands of employees.
This new style of business requires a new style of IT. Core IT to deliver the backbone of services to run business operations, and Fluid IT to be a partner in building brands, experiences, and loyalty.
IT faces a challenge – how to be efficient and consistent, as well as experimental and innovative.
Join this webinar to learn the 5 key success factors:
As digitization shapes every aspect of modern business, it is having an equally significant effect on the expectations of IT. Brands now have to embrace the age of the digital solution, whilst still maintaining the cornerstones of experience, security and loyalty. What has
emerged is a bimodal IT paradigm, where both traditional Core IT and modern Fluid IT are essential to the IT environment of a successful modern business.
A traditional IT system offers slower development but stable compute and solid security. Fluid IT is a reaction to the demands of the modern world—it is all about speed and agility as concepts are taken to market with ever-increasing speed, starting with minimal viable products. But this is not a case of old versus new, or good versus bad; successful businesses are those that learn to implement both.
Imagine a single, enterprise-level platform for all performance testing. Globally distributed engineers sharing a common testing infrastructure. All licenses consolidated into a single, easily accessible pool. Simple, single-instance installation and upgrade.
Imagine no more. Join this webinar to see the new innovations in Performance Testing from HP.

IT organizations are tasked with delivering end-to-end services for infrastructure and applications, while concurrent revolutions in cloud computing, mobility, big data and security are redefining what enterprise users expect from their applications and IT services.
IT professionals need to manage the complexity of accelerated delivery of services across traditional IT Data Centers or cloud environments—whether it is a full stack of infrastructure from storage, network, servers to databases or right up to the application layer. As an IT organization, success depends on efficiently orchestrating operations across functional silos, eliminating the hand-offs, delays and errors that lower the end users’ experiences.
So join Andy Mackay and Muneer Mubashir as they discuss what the Orchestrated Data Center really is.
What value does your IT Service Management solution provide to your business? To your users? How do you measure service quality and efficiency? In a world where IT performance data is spread across many systems, using spreadsheets or other manual tools is error-prone and inefficient. On the other hand the data to answer these questions is there – it’s in your service desk and other solutions. What if you could access this operational performance data coming from different systems and tools through a single lens and get meaningful answers from it?
Join this session to learn more about IT performance KPIs and how we can help you demonstrate value to your business and IT users.

Recently, a major IT management player said that IT needs “figures to measure performance and improve processes”. Clearly, we need to have concrete goals and the ability to manage against them. In order to align better, take cost out, and become more predictable in their service management, we need to have concrete service delivery goals as well as the ability in real time to know when you are not delivering.
In this webinar, we will cover the importance of having an ITSM Scorecard as well as what types of goals our customers say you should have for typical service management metrics.

In today’s presentation, we will discuss seven key things IT executives need to consider as they plan their journey to the cloud.
As you embrace cloud computing, you need to consider your strategy for how you will leverage cloud computing to serve the needs of your internal customers.
Public cloud services such as Amazon and Microsoft have become more popular and easy to access. Therefore, you will need to become brokers of cloud services, sourcing services from third parties, providing services based on internal infrastructure and integrating these services in a simple, seamless manner to your lines of business.
