Immer ausgefeiltere Angriffsmethoden wie Multi-Vektor-Angriffe sind mittlerweile alltäglich geworden. Bei einem Multi-Vektor-Angriff infiltrieren die Angreifer ein Netzwerk über mehrere Angriffspunkte oder Vektoren, so dass sie bestehende, meist statische Abwehrmaßnahmen, umgehen und sich ihre Chancen auf ein erfolgreiches Eindringen drastisch erhöhen.
