David M. Wissert is Deputy General Counsel to the firm, Chair of the firm's Employment Litigation Group, and a member of its Litigation Department, where he practices employment and general commercial litigation. Mr. Wissert's practice encompasses a wide array of litigation (including first chairing trials) and counseling under federal and state laws, in which he primarily represents management in discrimination actions, contract actions, disputes over non-competition and confidentiality agreements, and other business torts. Mr. Wissert also is listed in the 2008 and 2009 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, which praises him as "highly effective at turning tough cases around," and notes his "great ability to connect with juries." Following graduation from law school, Mr. Wissert clerked for New Jersey Superior Court Assignment and Chancery Judge Wilfred P. Diana.
