About this talk

For many organisations, their impact on the environment has become an increasingly important area of overall business focus. For some this has even become a genuine point of difference appealing to both customers and employees. The phrase ‘it takes a village’ of other roles in organisations to address sustainability challenges' has never been truer. While companies look to meet new requirements for addressing sustainability challenges, many see compliance as a checklist, not a structural priority to adopt sound sustainability hygiene. Our own initial research findings have already shown the level of importance this is having among marketing leaders and teams. Sustainable minded and concerned teams are starting to question just how sustainable their work is regarding the choice of channels being utilised. But what are these teams worrying about and are they focusing on the right areas? Do they really know the impact of using different channels and how can they make better informed and more measurable decisions? Join us online as we explore the impact of marketing in the age of sustainability, where we’ll discuss the latest DMA sustainability research. The findings will be discussed as a clear indication of how untied the industry is when addressing sustainability questions. You’ll also hear from Chris Sewell, Founder of Net Zero Media, whose work has revealed the real sustainability cost of differing marketing channels, giving you a new perspective in addressing this key generational issue.
