About this talk

As Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) around the globe introduce and launch 5G systems, communications networks will face new security threats and challenges. Understanding, mapping and mitigating these existing and upcoming security threats in an objective, speedy and effective manner has become essential. During this webinar we will drive the audience through Huawei’s product security baseline, which satisfies the security requirements of the current 5G product security evaluation based on NESAS (Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme) as well as the recently created 5G Security Knowledge Base published by GSMA, which includes the industry-consensus threat map, mitigation strategies and measures for different roles, and standards and best practices. With the full use of these suggestions and references coming from 5G Security Knowledge Base, 5G network security is verifiable and manageable. It is a powerful tool to help stakeholders systematically understand and respond to 5G cyber security threats at the technical level.
