Marketing Disruption in the Internet of Things

This presentation takes you on a journey across Dubai, which is aiming to be one of the world’s smartest cities by 2017. Mike Weston, CEO of data science consultancy Profusion, will take you on a whistle-stop tour of what a ‘smart’ Dubai will look like, and tell you how connected devices embedded into the fabric of the city, coupled with data science, will impact consumers and businesses. The talk uses Dubai as a practical example, however, much of the technology the Mike will discuss is being adopted in cities across the world, including London and New York.
