He covers passive strategies.    Kenneth Lamont is a senior fund analyst for Morningstar. Specializing in index strategies Kenneth covers the European passive funds and has published widely on the topics of sustainable and thematic investments. Recent publications include The Global Thematic Fund Landscape 2022.  Phil Nagel is a senior product manager for Morningstar Direct.  He specializes in manager research and the portfolio analysis capabilities in the software.  He focuses on new product development as well as client support for Morningstar’s notebook offering.  Phil partners with clients to perform in-depth holdings based analysis for their portfolios.  He also is experienced with the performance attribution capabilities used within Direct.
